Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Atlas Division (also referred to as "Atlas," "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms), including the app and this website. By using Atlas, you agree to these Terms.

Atlas is currently Alpha software. Features may change, be removed, be incomplete, contain bugs, or experience downtime, and catalog/pricing data coverage is limited. Please don't rely on current Alpha behavior as a permanent guarantee of how the product will work.

Eligibility and your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account, and you're responsible for maintaining access to your own account. Don't impersonate another person or entity, and don't use Atlas in a fraudulent or abusive way.

Collection and pricing data

Card, set, and pricing information shown in Atlas may come from third-party sources. Pricing can be delayed, incomplete, volatile, incorrect, or unavailable. Values shown in Atlas are informational estimates only — Atlas does not guarantee the price at which any card could actually be bought or sold. Atlas is not financial, investment, tax, or appraisal advice, and you should independently verify values before making any transaction decisions based on them.

Scanner and card recognition

Atlas's card scanner uses automated recognition, which may be imperfect. Please verify the identified card, printing, variant, or finish before relying on it, especially before making decisions based on that identification. To the extent permitted by law, Atlas is not responsible for consequences arising from an incorrect automated identification.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide to Atlas — your username, display name, bio, and your collection data, along with any future Community content. By providing content to Atlas, you grant us only the limited license needed to operate, display, and sync that content as part of the service. We do not claim broad or perpetual commercial rights over your content.

Acceptable use

When using Atlas, you agree not to:

Use Atlas for any unlawful purpose, or engage in fraud or abuse;
Harass, abuse, or impersonate others;
Attempt to compromise the security of Atlas's systems, or gain unauthorized access;
Manipulate or exploit XP, badges, Member Numbers, or other progress systems;
Engage in automated abuse or malicious scraping; or
Otherwise interfere with the normal operation of Atlas.

Atlas Division intellectual property; third-party trademarks

Atlas Division's software, branding, design, and original content remain the property of Atlas Division or its relevant rights holders. Third-party game names, artwork, trademarks, and card data (including, where applicable, Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and other trading card games referenced in Atlas) remain the property of their respective owners. Atlas Division is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those publishers unless explicitly stated.

Third-party content and services

Atlas may display or link to third-party data and services. Their availability and accuracy are outside Atlas's complete control, and their own terms may apply to your use of them.

Community, trading, and future features

Atlas's Community area is currently a foundation. Trading, a marketplace, and a paid "Atlas Pro" offering have not launched. If and when these features launch, they may be subject to additional terms announced at that time.

Founding Member and Founding Year

Founding Member is an in-product recognition status. Atlas has built the groundwork for a related "Founding Year" entitlement, but activation of any associated benefit is currently disabled, and Atlas does not currently offer a paid "Atlas Pro" service. Using Atlas during this Alpha, or agreeing to these Terms, does not by itself activate any future paid-service benefit. Certain Founding Members may become eligible for promotional benefits announced separately in the future, which may carry their own additional terms at that time.

XP, levels, badges, and Member Numbers

XP, levels, badges, Member Numbers, and similar titles are in-app status features. They have no cash value and are non-transferable unless Atlas explicitly states otherwise. We may adjust these for bugs, abuse, or integrity issues where necessary — this is meant to keep the system fair, not to put normal use at risk of arbitrary resets.

Service availability and changes

Atlas may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Because Atlas is in Alpha, we don't guarantee uptime or availability.

Disclaimer of warranties

Atlas is provided on an "as available" basis. Data, pricing, and card recognition may contain errors, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Atlas disclaims warranties beyond what's stated here. Nothing in these Terms affects any consumer rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Atlas's liability to you is limited as described in this section, and mandatory consumer protections under applicable law remain unaffected.

Termination

We may restrict or suspend your account for abuse, security threats, unlawful activity, or material violations of these Terms. If you'd like to stop using Atlas or have your account or data deleted, please contact us through the Atlas feedback form — this is our current channel for account and data deletion requests while Atlas is in Alpha.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Atlas evolves, especially during this Alpha period. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above.
